Comparison rates on our website are based on a secured loan of $150,000 over a term of 25 years.

You need to understand that the comparison rate is placed on our website for educational purpose only and provided as an example or example given. Comparison rate depends on many factors such as the amount of mortgage and loan term and can be based on these numbers and data that you entered. Some of the costs can have an impact on the final comparison rate but have not been included into calculations (i.e. early repayment fee, redraw fee, cost of savings etc.)

Online calculators and tools

We have developed our calculators and other tools in a good faith and used similar methods of calculation that are applied by some of Australia’s major lenders.

The calculations can vary from the banks and it is your responsibility to confirm calculation results with the lender. Banks can change their credit policy without notifying us or simply calculators can contain errors. We can’t guaranty that the results of our calculators are current and take no responsibility for any potential loss caused by someone relying on the information provided. There are some “grey areas” in home loan applications and we might need additional confirmation from a lender before we can confirm the rate, your eligibility and fees applied. You can use the results of calculators as an indication and can’t consider them as a home loan approval.
